Ted supports faculty and the university in the pursuit of funding from private foundations. He joined OCFR in December 2018 after six years as a development writer at Rice creating proposals, correspondence, student and staff profiles, marketing materials, reports, and other publications. His background includes IT communications in higher ed, writing for magazines and ecommerce, blogging, and podcasting. Ted holds a Master in Writing degree from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and a literature degree from Middlebury College in Vermont. In his free time he enjoys coaching youth baseball, podcasting about stationery, and spending time with his wife, two kids, and dog, Finn.
