Samantha “Sam” Velez is Assistant Director of Corporate Relations. Previously, Sam served as the Associate Director of the National Migrant Scholars Internship (NMSI) initiative at Michigan State University. At MSU, she developed the program and facilitated employer relations and the development of underserved students across 59 universities nationwide. Prior to MSU, Sam served as a TRIO College Readiness Specialist for Trio Talent Search at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. Sam holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Michigan State University and is a proud RGV native.
